Available from September, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet (997) is, obviously, the 911 Turbo with the roof chopped off! It really is a serious contender in this exalted market place, holding its own very well against stiff competition such as the Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster and Ferrari F430 Spider, and even giving the mighty Mclaren SLR a run for its money (at less than half the price)! And, as with its hardtop sibling, there is nothing that can compete in the usability stakes. It loses a little sharpness in cabriolet guise, but you'd be hard-pushed to notice unless you were pushing so hard you were in warp-drive! The 'Sensible' Supercar Cabriolet!
