What do Innovation Cars say about the Audi R8?
Audi are doing a Mercedes on us - new niches every time you look! But they are doing it better than Mercedes, who seem to be looking for ever smaller niches - does anyone really need an S-Class people carrier (R Class)? The R8 is an Audi supercar for 911 money. And it's good. Very good.
With waiting list of over a year, this is a very desirable car. Choose the R-Tronic transmission (straight out of the Gallardo) and go just as quickly, but use less fuel. With Audis Quattro system the R8 doesn't just handle well - it also has prodigious amounts of grip. You would have to do something very stupid to lose this on the road. This is a true 'baby Ferrari', from a sensible car maker with a great reputation for build quality and reliability. How can you go wrong?!
Once again Audi have nailed it, this time with the R8.
